The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lam 3:22,23
It's just surprising how quickly the days went by, and here we are in a brand new year. A quick recall of how God led us through all our struggles, anxiety, troubles, illness, difficulties and all sorts of problems is just amazing & unfathomable. As the above verse says, Great is His (God's) faithfulness! The Bible says-
"Whereas ye know not what shall be in the morrow. For what is your life?It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away. James 4:14"
This above verse depicts how fragile and short our life is, we may never know when or how it will end, thus there is nothing to be boastful about, everything we have, is all by God's grace and mercy. But, isn't it remarkable to consider the great love and care our creator has for us. Yes, even after knowing about our fleeting life, God loves us.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
The verse that best explains the wonderful love of God. Lord Jesus Christ came down for me and you, He gave Himself for our redemption, and bore our sins on that cross of calvary. He suffered, bled, received stripes went through soo much of agony, pain and tasted death for the whole world. He did so, in order to die as a substitute for our sins, so that whosoever believes in Him may have life everlasting. He rose again the third day & is coming soon! It was His love that brought Him down for us! Have you accepted this loving sacrifice and accepted Him as your Lord and saviour? If not, today may be your day to do so!
As we step into yet another year which God has graciously added in our lives, for consider how many people who entered last year couldn't reach this new page. We may enter with lots of anticipation, hopes, or anxiety of what the future holds. Though we may never know what lies ahead yet we can be assured of the one who holds tomorrow, that He will lead us through. As written here -
This is what the Lord says, your redeemer - I am the LORD your God who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17
